Responsibilities:- Lead a team of software developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance APIs using Java Spring Boot for BFSI clients, with focus on Insurance.- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and prioritize deliverables.- Design scalable, reliable, and secure API architectures, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.- Review code, provide constructive feedback, and promote continuous improvement in coding practices and development processes.- Drive technical initiatives, such as architecture enhancements, performance optimization, and tooling improvements, to enhance team productivity and product quality.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including QA engineers, DevOps specialists, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of API solutions.- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in API development and software engineering.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java Spring Boot API development.- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring development teams.- Deep understanding of API design principles, microservices architecture, and RESTful web services.- Proficiency in Java programming language, Spring framework, and related technologies.- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is desirable.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive technical excellence within the team.
