Role Overview and Objectives
The Learning Experience Designer is responsible for assisting the Manager – ANZ Learning and Organisational Development and the broader team in designing and producing learning content and resources to support project deliverables and enable the skills development of our workforce. This role ensures that employees have access to engaging, contemporary learning resources required to do their jobs safely, mitigate risk, increase business effectiveness and increase employee development without adversely impacting on organisational productivity.
Role Responsibilities
The Learning Experience Designer is responsible for (but not limited to):
Design and develop multimedia content for learning including e-learning courses, videos, animations, infographics, and interactive elements.
Utilize instructional design principles to ensure content is effective, engaging and meets learning objectives.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
Communication and promotion of learning and development initiatives across the organisation.
Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve learning resources and experiences.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia design and e-learning.
Being actively involved in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Requirements:
Knowledge
Knowledge of contemporary learning methodologies.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
Understanding the eco system of learning systems.
Experience
2+ years of corporate training experience.
E-learning design
Video creation
Content curation
Administering Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Training facilitation
Stakeholder management
Skills
Proficiency in multimedia software such video creation software, graphic design, info graphics and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Suite).
Learning content/experience design in a variety of modalities.
Strong communication skills with excellent writing ability and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Data analysis skills to measure the effectiveness of learning experiences
