About the Job:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Virtual Assistant to support our client's healthcare team with daily clinic operations and patient administrative services. In this role, you will assist with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, treatment authorizations, medical billing support, patient communications, EHR documentation, and follow-up coordination. You will play an important role in helping ensure smooth clinic workflows, accurate records management, and a positive patient experience. This position offers valuable exposure to US healthcare practices while supporting the delivery of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage before appointments
  • Obtain treatment authorizations and approvals as required by insurance providers
  • Assist with claim submissions, denial management, and resolution of EOB-related issues
  • Identify and help address common billing concerns and discrepancies
  • Manage patient calls, including appointment scheduling and confirmations, responding to inquiries, gathering pre-exam information, and routing calls appropriately
  • Process incoming correspondence, upload and document information in the EHR system, and coordinate necessary follow-up actions
  • Maintain accurate patient and administrative records to support efficient clinic operations and continuity of care

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Medical-Allied course.
  • Open to fresh graduates; prior experience is not required as training will be provided.
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
  • Proficient in computer applications and comfortable using EHR systems.
  • Able to work on-site and adapt to a dynamic clinic environment.
  • Willing to work US hours (graveyard shift).
  • Excellent interpersonal and English (written & verbal) communication skills.
  • Can start immediately, if possible.
