Merchandising Manager (Frozen Items)

The Merchandising Manager develops and executes merchandising strategies that drive revenue, increase inventory turnover, and enhance the overall shopping experience. This role sits at the intersection of buying, inventory management, and in-store marketing, requiring collaboration with vendors, store operations, and corporate leadership.

Key responsibilities

1. Assortment Management

- Develop and implement assortment & pricing strategies to achieve sales and marginal targets.

-Collaborate with suppliers for managing SKU performance activities.

2. Trade Management

-Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to achieve sales and margin targets.

-Coordinate with suppliers to execute marketing plans, promotions, and/or initiatives.

-Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize marketing strategies.

-Monitoring sales performance, tracking KPIs, and optimizing promotional activities.

-Manage trade marketing budget and ensure cost-effective spending.

3. Margins Management

-Develop and implement marginal strategies to achieve sales and marginal targets.

-Conduct regular business reviews with assigned suppliers about the partnership, scorecard and SKU performance.

4. Monitor Trends - Stay ahead of shifts in consumer behavior (e.g., growing demand for organic, plant-based, or locally sourced products).

5. Competitive Pricing: Establish retail pricing strategies that maintain a competitive edge while protecting profit margins.

6. Data Analysis: Review sales data and margin reports to assess the financial performance of promotions.
