About the Company
We are an industrial AI startup transforming how manufacturing facilities operate. By training graph neural networks on facility physics, energy flows, and operational dynamics, our platform enables plants to run as fully coordinated, autonomous systems rather than individually tuned machines. Our technology captures deep operational knowledge to continuously optimize performance, replacing manual operator intuition and siloed control systems.
Driven by fully funded state and utility industrial decarbonization grants (including programs across Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Maryland that fully cover initial customer onboarding costs), we are rapidly scaling our footprint across North American manufacturing operations.
Job Summary
The Fractional Google Ads Lead will act as a hands-on paid acquisition operator, owning paid ad strategy and execution end-to-end to drive qualified leads from eligible manufacturers. The Lead will reactivate and rebuild the company's Google Ads account, stand up Meta campaigns, conduct hyper-targeted keyword and persona research, align landing pages to active funded offers, and build a repeatable lead engine across target states (Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Maryland). Working directly with the Co-Founders, the Lead will run a structured "crawl, walk, run" testing plan to validate cost per qualified lead benchmarks and capture open funded slots before transitioning the lead engine to non-funded models.
Key Responsibilities
Account Reactivation & Audit: Audit and rebuild the existing Google Ads account structure, establishing conversion tracking, billing, and account health within the first 30 days.
Keyword Research & Search Campaigns: Conduct keyword research around industrial decarbonization, energy efficiency, rising energy costs, rebates, and process equipment breakdowns. Build hyper-targeted search campaigns for target regions (Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, designated Colorado counties, and Maryland) and verticals (food/beverage, cosmetics, pharma, CNC/precision manufacturing, and cold storage).
Meta Campaign Setup: Design and launch targeted Meta campaigns to reach key manufacturing personas (Owners, COOs, CFOs, and Production Managers) who lack active LinkedIn profiles.
Funnel & Landing Page Alignment: Align ad messaging and landing pages to state and utility-funded onboarding offers, ensuring lead qualification forms enforce program eligibility rules (e.g., employee caps under 200–250). Build a secondary landing page variant for non-funded programs.
Budget & Bid Management: Manage daily budget pacing, bid strategies, and budget allocation across campaigns to keep cost per click (CPC) and cost per qualified lead (CPQL) strictly optimized.
Analytics & Attribution: Build and own an analytics dashboard to deliver end-to-end conversion tracking and lead attribution from ad click to signed customer.
Weekly Performance Cadence: Meet weekly with executive leadership to present concise, data-driven reports covering spend, clicks, leads, CPQL, and clear recommendations on budget reallocation.
Promotional Credits: Research, identify, and apply available Google Ads or startup ad credits where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Paid Acquisition Specialist, Performance Marketing Manager, or Google Ads Specialist (B2B SaaS, industrial, or energy sectors preferred).
Platform Mastery: Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, Tracking) and Meta Ads Manager.
Funnel Optimization: Proven track record in conversion tracking, CRO, landing page alignment, and strict lead-qualification workflows.
Autonomous Execution: Ability to deliver maximum impact within a fractional 8-hour/week commitment.
Communication & Analytics: Strong data presentation skills with the ability to communicate directly with C-suite founders.
