Job Description - PHL - Paid Media Operations Specialist

Job Title: Paid Media Operations Specialist

Contractor Fee: $2,000 - $2,300/month (USD)

Work Arrangement: Remote

Engagement Type: Independent Contractor

Commitment: Full-time (Approx. 40 hours/week)

About This Role:
We are hiring a Paid Media Operations Specialist to support a fast-growing direct-to-consumer eCommerce brand. This role focuses on uploading ads, organizing campaigns, tracking budget pacing, reviewing ad performance, and sharing insights with the creative team. This is not a basic VA, data entry, executive assistant, or creative strategist role. You will not write ad briefs, but you should be comfortable working with large ad accounts, high-volume ad uploads, and performance data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upload ads across multiple paid media channels, including Meta Ads Manager and other ad platforms

  • Support high-volume creative testing, including 150+ ad concepts per month

  • Ensure campaign names, ad names, links, tracking, budgets, placements, and ad settings are accurate

  • Maintain clean and organized campaign, ad set, and ad account structures

  • Troubleshoot ad upload issues, rejected ads, tracking issues, and platform errors

  • Track ad spend, budget pacing, campaign performance, and creative performance using reports and tracking sheets

  • Review ad performance and help identify which ads should be removed, improved, tested further, or scaled

  • Support ad culling and ad graduation based on performance data

  • Share clear, creative performance insights with the Funnel Lead and creative strategists

  • Help organize performance data related to incrementality and campaign effectiveness

  • Support shared data entry and workflow updates when needed

Software/Platforms/Tools:

  • Meta Ads Manager

  • TikTok Ads, Google Ads, or other paid media platforms

  • Shopify

  • Google Sheets / Excel

  • Google Workspace

  • Slack

  • ClickUp or similar project management tools

  • Shared cloud storage and asset management tools

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of freelancing or remote work experience

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in ad operations, paid media operations, media buying support, or performance marketing operations

  • Hands-on experience uploading ads and supporting campaign setup in Meta Ads Manager and other paid media channels

  • Experience working with high-volume ad accounts and large creative testing volume

  • Experience managing or supporting at least $100K/month in ad spend is strongly preferred

  • Experience with larger ad accounts is a plus, especially accounts spending $300K-$600K+ per month

  • Strong understanding of budget pacing, campaign tracking, creative analysis, and paid media reporting

  • Basic understanding of incrementality and how paid media performance is reviewed beyond platform numbers

  • Strong Google Sheets or Excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows

  • Highly organized, reliable, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setup

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication, preferably C1 or C2 level

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with direct-to-consumer eCommerce brands

  • Experience with apparel, beauty, wellness, pet, lifestyle, or consumer product brands

  • Experience with creative testing, ad culling, and ad graduation

  • Experience working with media buyers, funnel leads, creative strategists, and performance marketing teams

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, preferably Philippine business hours, with required attendance for weekly team meetings and monthly all-hands meetings in PH time.
