Job Overview: The Practice Lead for Microsoft is responsible for defining, scaling, and governing the Microsoft practice across the organization. This role owns the end\-to\-end Microsoft capabilityâfrom strategy and architecture through delivery and optimizationâensuring the platform delivers measurable business value across sales, service, marketing, and digital engagement functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Strategy & Leadership
â Define and execute the Microsoft practice strategy, roadmap, and operating model aligned with enterprise and client priorities.
â Position Microsoft as a core customer and engagement platform, supporting revenue growth, service excellence, and digital transformation.
â Establish platform standards, architectural principles, and delivery best practices across all Microsoft clouds.
Offering & Capability Development
â Build and evolve Microsoft service offerings, including:
o Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud
o Industry Clouds and custom Microsoft solutions o Platform integration, data, and API enablement
o Microsoft modernization, optimization, and managed services
â Define reusable assets, accelerators, reference architectures, and delivery templates.
â Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and quality standards within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Delivery Excellence & Governance
â Ensure consistent, high\-quality delivery of Microsoft programs across accounts and portfolios.
â Establish governance, KPIs, and quality metrics covering platform performance, adoption, and business outcomes.
â Act as escalation point for complex or at\-risk Microsoft initiatives.
â Ensure alignment with Microsoft release cycles, security, and compliance requirements
Talent & Capability Building
â Build and lead Microsoft teams including architects, developers, administrators, consultants, and QA specialists.
â Define role frameworks, skills taxonomy, certification paths, and learning journeys aligned with Microsoft standards.
â Foster a strong Microsoft community of practice and culture of continuous learning.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
â Partner with business leaders, CIOs, and CRM owners to define Microsoft roadmaps and transformation plans.
â Lead discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and executive briefings.
â Act as a trusted advisor on Microsoft platform strategy, adoption, and value realization.
Commercial Growth & Partnerships
â Support sales and pre\-sales by shaping Microsoft solutions, estimates, and proposals.
â Drive practice revenue growth through new offerings, account expansion, and long\-term managed service engagements.
â Manage strategic relationship with Microsoft, including partner programs, certifications, and co\-selling opportunities.
Requirements
Required
â 12+ years of experience in CRM, enterprise applications, or digital platforms, with at least 5 years in a Microsoft leadership or practice\-building role.
â Strong hands\-on knowledge of Microsoft platform capabilities and architecture across multiple clouds.
â Proven experience leading large\-scale Microsoft implementations or transformations.
â Experience building and scaling delivery teams and platform practices.
â Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
â Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, or Platform Developer).
â Experience in consulting, systems integration, or technology services organizations.
â Exposure to integration platforms, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems.
â Experience in regulated or enterprise\-scale environments.
