Opportunity Overview

The Nextest/Memory Test Division (MTD) of Teradyne is looking for a detailed-oriented Project Coordinator/Analyst with a Finance background. MTD is the market leader in Semiconductor Memory Test. The memory in your computer, cell phone, or tablet was likely tested using our equipment.

As a Project Coordinator/Analyst, you’ll leverage your Finance/Accounting background, working with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure all our Engineering Project Budgets are up-to-date and accurate. Financial Data Entry and Analysis:   

• Run and monitor budgets for all MTD Engineering projects by tracking Labor, material requisitions, ensuring material is delivered/invoiced, and updating budget accordingly.

• Assist in the accurate and timely entry of financial data into our Project Budgets and lead in Projections and Actual Purchase/NRE/Capital reconciliations, and other reports as required.

Management Reporting:             

• Aid in the preparation of aggregate financial reports.

• Generation of periodic financial reports for management review.

Collaboration and Communication:        

• Work with team members to ensure smooth functioning of finance operations.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:        

• Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

• Assist in variance analysis and reporting.

Ad hoc Projects / Work:   

• Contribute to special projects as assigned.

• Provide support in various finance-related initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• Excellent organizational and written / verbal communication skills.
  
  
  
  • Must communicate effectively with cross functional teams regarding financial updates.
  
  
  
  


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Expertise in Excel and be able to generate Pivot Tables, filtering and scripting is a plus


• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Access, Microsoft Power Query and Power Automate as well as other automation tools preferred.


• Prior experience in Oracle 11i or other ERP an advantage


• Experience in project management a plus.


• Proactive and self-motivated and must be able to resolve financial issues professionally


• Excellent interpersonal skills.


• Eagerness to learn and ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.


• Willing to work extended hours when needed.


• Ability to work on night shift (Pacific Standard Time) and during certain months when needed.
