Job Description - QA/QC Manager (Subic Bay, Zambales)


The QA/QC Manager will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Control program. This role is critical to ensuring compliance, safety and excellence across all project phases. 


 


Key responsibilities:



  • Implement and manage the QA/QC program

  • May perform the duties of Project Superintendent or Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO)

  • Attend the partnering meetings, QA/QC Plan Meetings, Coordination and Mutual Understanding Meeting, conduct the QA/QC meetings

  • Perform the three phases of control, perform submittal review and approval, ensure testing is performed and provide QA/QC certifications and documentation

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating the three phases of control and documentation performed by testing laboratory personnel and any other inspection and testing personnel

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


 


Qualifications to be successful in the role:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

  • Must be a licensed engineer

  • At least 8 years of experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager

  • Completed the Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors training

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a QA/QC Manager

  • Must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1, and have experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.

  • Flexible and available to travel anywhere as needed
