Quantity Surveyor

Job Overview

We're hiring a quantity surveyor under Wilcon Corporation to manage cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration for Wilcon Depot construction projects. This role ensures that all project costs are monitored and controlled from planning to completion, helping us deliver quality builds within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-construction budgets and Bills of Materials (BOM) for new builds and renovations
• Upload BOMs to PPM or SD program systems
• Track deliveries, material requests, and change orders from site engineers
• Coordinate issuance of Notices to Proceed and Awards with contractors and suppliers
• Support renovation engineers in uploading BOMs and monitoring deliveries
• Evaluate variation orders and ensure accurate documentation
• Monitor excess site materials and coordinate with warehouse teams
• Manage advanced engineering material orders from China
• Conduct site visits and join bid meetings with internal teams and project bidders

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in construction coordination, materials management, or project support
• Familiarity with project tracking systems (PPM, SD Request) and MS Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with contractors, engineering teams, and warehouse personnel
• Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings
