E-Learning Course Design Specialist

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented E-Learning Course Design Specialist to join our team and support our client in the education and training sector. This is a full-time, remote, 12-month fixed-term contract position, with the potential to become permanent. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in e-learning development and is passionate about creating engaging, accessible, and effective digital learning experiences.

Your Client:

Work with a Queensland-based, multi-award-winning training provider making a difference in the Disability and Aged Care sectors across Australia. With a mission to empower communities through accessible and high-quality education, this organization is rapidly expanding its reach across the country and into global markets.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• At least 3 years of experience in E-Learning Course Design


• A minimum of 3 years working with Storyline 360 and the Articulate 360 suite


• A strong portfolio showcasing engaging e-learning projects


• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects


• Solid understanding of instructional design and accessibility standards


• Experience designing assessments, interactive elements, and gamified content


• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team


• A genuine passion for inclusive learning and professional development

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

1. E-Learning Course Design & Development

• Create high-quality, interactive e-learning courses using Articulate Storyline 360


• Design with UI/UX best practices in mind and ensure all content is accessible


• Edit and sync audio/video using Adobe Premiere Pro


• Apply instructional design principles to adapt content for the Aged Care and international markets


• Develop engaging visuals and supporting course materials using Adobe Illustrator


• Conduct peer reviews to ensure quality and consistency
  
   

2. Collaboration & Quality Assurance

• Work closely with the Learning & Development team to enhance e-learning content and style guides


• Ensure all courses meet quality standards and contribute to award-winning content


• Keep up with e-learning trends and recommend innovations in content delivery
  
   

3. Project & Process Management

• Track project progress using internal tools


• Maintain documentation, user guides, and innovation logs


• Follow all design and operating procedures for consistency and compliance
