Job Description - Social and Content Manager

Responsibilities

  • Research and Strategy
  • Research each client, their competitors and their industry before touching the content
    calendar
  • Review current social performance using analytics and build content strategy based
    on what the data is telling you
  • Make clear recommendations for improvement and bring ideas to the table without
    waiting to be asked
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends across each client sector and flag
    anything relevant

  • Content Planning and Production
  • Plan and maintain monthly content calendars across client accounts with every post
    serving a clear purpose
  • Understand that Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn each have different audiences
    and content requirements and adapt accordingly
  • Brief the creative team on what visuals are needed for each post, whether sourced,
    created or produced
  • Write captions and copy that sounds like the client, not a template, and earns
    attention on the platform it is posted to
  • Schedule and publish content with a consistent and intentional cadence across all
    accounts

  • Community and Approvals
  • Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages during business hours in line
    with client guidelines
  • Manage content approval workflows, keeping drafts moving from creation through
    sign -off to scheduled publication
  • Chase outstanding approvals and assets without needing to be asked

  • Reporting
  • Produce a straightforward monthly performance summary for each client account
    covering key metrics, what is working, what is not and what to do next
  • Read analytics properly and use them to inform content decisions, not just report
    numbers

  • Studio Coordination
  • Keep track of active jobs across Rogue Studios using Airtable or similar
  • Communicate promptly via Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp
  • Support the Creative Director with overall production management and job tracking,
    LinkedIn content research and drafting for clients and internal company.
  • Assist with project coordination across design, web and marketing projects, helping
    maintain task visibility and keeping deliverables on track across the team
  • Chase outstanding items, approvals and client -supplied assets without waiting to be
    asked

Requirements

  • Essential
  • Proven experience managing organic social across multiple client accounts or brands
    simultaneously, not just one Facebook page
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn as distinct platforms
    with different content requirements
  • Experience building and managing content calendars with clear strategic rationale
    behind each post
  • Ability to read social analytics and translate data into content strategy and
    recommendations
  • Strong writing instincts with the ability to adapt tone and voice across different brands
    and industries
  • Experience with social content planning tools such as Planoly, Later, Buffer or
    equivalent
  • Comfortable day -to -day in project and communication tools such as Airtable,
    Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp or equivalent
  • Confident using AI tools to accelerate production while maintaining quality and brand
    voice
  • Highly organised, self -directed and able to manage competing deadlines across
    multiple accounts without supervision

  • Desirable/Nice to have
  • Experience with TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube or other platforms beyond Meta and
    LinkedIn
  • Short -form video editing using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar
  • Experience with paid social on Meta or LinkedIn as a bonus, not a requirement
  • Experience writing case studies or editorial content
  • Adapt and resize design assets for social formats using Adobe Photoshop, figma,
    Canva or equivalent

Work Arrangement

  • Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Sydney time, should complete nine (9) hours work
