Research Executive

Key Responsibilities

Research Design & Fieldwork

• Design and execute qualitative research projects including in-depth interviews (IDIs), focus groups (FGDs), ethnographic studies, and field observations.

• Develop discussion guides and qualitative research frameworks aligned with research objectives.

• Conduct fieldwork across Metro Manila and surrounding areas, engaging directly with research participants.

• Ensure high-quality documentation and organization of research materials and insights.

Analysis & Insight Generation

• Analyze qualitative data to identify behavioral patterns, motivations, and decision drivers.

• Translate findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

• Prepare research reports, insight summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate participant recruitment, field logistics, and research timelines.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure research outputs inform business and product decisions.

Mentorship

• Mentor 1–2 junior researchers, supporting their development in qualitative research methods, interviewing, and analysis.

Requirements

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in qualitative research (research agency, consulting, academic, or in-house research team).

• Strong experience conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups.

• Experience supporting or leading qualitative research projects end-to-end.

Skills

• Excellent interviewing and moderation skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize qualitative data.

• Clear communication and storytelling skills when presenting insights.

• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.

Personal Qualities

• Comfortable with frequent fieldwork across NCR.

• Curious, empathetic, and attentive to participant perspectives.

• Able to work independently in field environments.
