Job Description - Sales Consultant I

Responsible for contacting customers who have lapsed journal subscriptions. Persuade account holders to renew, upsell additional titles and process advanced renewals. Submit reports on a timely basis. Such reports should be accurate, has a backup copy and detailed notation should be seen to track work history. The Sales Consultant should also be able to hit and exceed the required dollar quota amounts prescribed. The Sales Consultant should have a strong and determined attitude by maximizing call and email efforts. A stamina for rejection with a staying power to continue and complete the calling timeframe until new leads are provided. One must be creative and diligent in creating a variety of email and voicemail templates. This role should also be adept with US time zones and must have a good sense of timing when making calls. The Sales Consultant should be able to uncover reasons for decline and overcome objections. One must commit to an end-to-end process.
