Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for enhancing customer experience and relationships and providing Sales support by creating quotes in CPQ.  This involves learning and understanding the reseller pricing discount structure. 

This process includes creating quotes for standard SKUs, as well as creating ETOs, requesting DOPs, requesting revised POs from the reseller as needed, and submitting quotes to the order review status. This requires the escalation of quote issues to the appropriate team for quick resolution. 

We are looking for an exceptional level of customer service for all Vertiv employees and resellers, as well as Vertiv Factory Direct Offices (FDOs) and Local Vertiv Offices (LVOs). 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Creates CPQ quotes for customers’ pricing and availability requests (RFQ) and to match reseller purchase orders we have received for processing. 


• Working with the sales team when pricing issues occur. 


• Create an organized process for follow-up on quote escalations.

  Any additional activity or task assigned by immediate supervisor as needed, or in fulfillment of and in relation to essential job functions.

  
  

   

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a customer service, order processing, or administrative support role.


• High school diploma or equivalent experience; additional training or certifications in business  administration or related fields is a plus.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Accurate data entry and typing skills.


• Familiarity with Oracle/EBS systems is an advantage.


• Computer literate with the ability to quickly learn and navigate business systems.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong phone and email etiquette and interpersonal abilities.


• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently.


• Able to work both independently and collaboratively.


• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.


• Logical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot service contract order issues.


• Strong sense of teamwork with a leadership-oriented mindset.


• Proven ability to contribute to team goals while working independently.


• Service industry experience is a plus
