Senior Developer

Senior Developer responsible for building scalable cloud-native applications that enable Data Science, AI, and ML solutions using AWS or Databricks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and develop cloud-native applications using AWS or Databricks.
• Build scalable APIs, microservices, automation workflows, and event-driven applications.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture from design through production deployment.
• Integrate applications with internal/external systems via APIs, messaging, webhooks, and event streaming.
• Develop services supporting data lakes, data warehouses, ML pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Build and operationalize ML applications and MLOps workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionize AI/ML solutions.
• Mentor developers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience building production applications in AWS or Databricks.
• Experience with MLOps and/or DataOps.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies (Spark, Delta Lake, Kafka).
• Strong API and system integration experience.
• Experience implementing CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Understanding of ML lifecycle and supporting Data Science teams.
• Knowledge of microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
• Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
