Job Description - Senior Marketing & Account Manager (Remote) | Australian Digital Agency & Multi-Client Growth
The snapshot
Staffstream is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager / Account Manager for an Australian digital marketing agency that helps brands across hospitality, fitness, aviation, property, and lifestyle turn big ideas into real growth. Campaigns run across Meta, Google, email, and organic social, with a strong focus on strategy, creativity, and commercial results.
The agency wants a marketing lead who plugs into the team and doesn't feel outsourced. You'd start working as an extension of the Account Manager, then build up your own portfolio of around seven clients over time, owning each client journey from onboarding and planning through to strategy, delivery, tracking, and reporting. Roughly half the role is account management, so this suits someone who cares about the client relationship as much as the campaign results. This role is open to candidates based in the Philippines.
What you will actually do
Account management (about half the role)
Own the client relationship from onboarding to ongoing delivery, including access to content libraries, ad accounts, and platforms.
Run online planning meetings with clients to understand their goals for the next month or quarter, with agendas that draw out clear, measurable objectives before strategy begins.
Brief work into the internal team, review what comes back, and keep the client updated throughout.
Present results to clients and handle difficult conversations with confidence.
Manage design requests, such as menu updates and print artwork, by briefing the design team and overseeing delivery.
Work towards a client retention rate of 95 to 100%.
Strategy and campaign planning
Turn client objectives into a clear strategy and a quarterly marketing plan.
Recommend the right channels and activities across Meta, Google, email marketing, organic social, and other platforms.
Develop creative campaign ideas and community activations that suit each client and audience, and go beyond cookie-cutter.
Monitor progress through the month and adjust the plan quickly when results need a boost.
Paid media oversight
Give a strategic point of view on audience, targeting, and budget direction, working hand in hand with the Ads Manager.
Sense-check that campaign setups make sense for each client's goals.
Tracking, reporting, and quality control
Track performance in Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and email platforms, including leads, clicks, click-through rate, traffic, and engagement.
Know which numbers matter and which don't, and turn data into clear insights for the client.
Prepare client reports that show results against the agreed objectives.
Review creative to make sure it's on brand, and review copy and messaging before it goes to the client.
Working with the team
Work closely with the Head of Client Services, Account Manager, Ads Manager, Marketing Assistant, and Graphic Designers.
Work within client retainers, which are set hours per month. Your time is tracked in the team's systems (monday.com and Toggl), so managing your hours well is part of the job.
Balance efficiency with high-quality work across several clients at once.
What you need to bring
At least 2 to 3 years working in a marketing or digital agency. This is non-negotiable.
Proven client-facing experience, including running meetings, reporting, and managing expectations.
A track record of growing businesses or generating leads through digital marketing.
Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
Experience with an email platform such as Mailchimp.
Excellent written and spoken English, with no language barriers. You'll lead conversations, ask smart questions, and share ideas with clients and the internal team.
An analytical mind with a creative streak, and a good design eye, since many clients are aesthetically led.
Strong organisation and time management, and the ability to juggle multiple clients at once.
Flexibility to pivot mid-month when a campaign needs it, and ownership of your clients' outcomes.
Nice to have
Hands-on paid media skills, especially to provide backup cover for the Ads Manager.
Experience with Klaviyo, and familiarity with Shopify to link orders and sales back to ad performance.
Comfort using Canva for reporting and quick creative.
Experience in hospitality, fitness, aviation, or property.
International agency experience is welcome. Australian agency experience is a big bonus.
The setup
This role is open to Philippines-based candidates.
Fully remote, working full Australian business hours
Staffstream provides your work-from-home equipment.
What's in it for you
A stable, full-time role with a business that genuinely needs you and wants you to grow into it. You'd be trusted to own your area, not micromanaged, working with a small team that values someone who can take things off their plate and run with them. On top of that, Staffstream looks after you properly:
HMO health cover, with one dependent covered for free.
Group life insurance.
Paid leave credits.
You're employed compliantly under Philippine law: a proper local employment contract, your taxes handled correctly, and all your government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) plus 13th month pay. That means real security and peace of mind, not a loose freelance arrangement. Everything is above board and looked after for you.
