Senior Supervisor, Internal Audit

Position Summary

The Senior Supervisor, Internal Audit (IT & Online Gaming) is responsible for conducting assurance and advisory engagements in accordance with the Global Internal Audit Standards issued by The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). The role supports management by providing independent assessments of IT operations, information systems, IT infrastructure, IT security, and online gaming operations. The position requires working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Audit Services

• Conduct preliminary audit assessments through interviews, document reviews, and surveys.
  
• Perform risk and control assessments of business units, projects, and operational activities.
  
• Develop audit programs and work plans.
  
• Conduct process walkthroughs and document existing controls and procedures.
  
• Perform data extraction, analysis, and sampling using data analytics tools.
  
• Execute audit procedures, including testing controls and analyzing audit evidence.
  
• Conduct ad hoc audit projects assigned by Internal Audit Management.
  
• Prepare audit findings and communicate results to department stakeholders.
  
• Draft audit reports and recommendations.
  
• Maintain complete and organized working papers in TeamMate+ Audit Management System.
  
• Monitor management action plans and follow-up activities.
  
• Participate in the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) to ensure compliance with Global Internal Audit Standards.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, management, and team members.
  
• Represent the Internal Audit function in meetings, project teams, and external engagements.
  

Professional Development

• Pursue continuous learning through professional certifications, training programs, and industry associations.
  
• Share acquired knowledge and best practices with team members.
  

Administrative Support

• Provide administrative assistance and support to Internal Audit leadership as required.
  

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Internal Auditing, or a related field. 
  

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in internal and/or external auditing involving:
  • IT Operations
    
  • Information Systems
    
  • IT Infrastructure
    
  • IT Security
    
  • Online Gaming Operations
    
• Experience with Big Four audit firms is preferred.
  
• Exposure to Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs) and data analytics tools.
  
• Experience using Audit Management Systems such as TeamMate+ is an advantage.
  
• Experience in fraud audits or investigative work is preferred.
  

Professional Certifications

Must possess at least one of the following:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  

Additional certifications are advantageous:

• Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
  
• Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  
• Advanced AI Audit certifications
  
• Other IT-related certifications
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of IT governance, IT management, cybersecurity, systems development, implementation, business continuity, and online gaming operations.
  
• Knowledge of internal auditing standards and accounting principles.
  
• Familiarity with Global Internal Audit Standards and ISACA standards.
  
• Project planning and project management skills.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Ability to conduct quality reviews of audit work.
  
• Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in Computer Assisted Audit Tools (CAATs) and data analytics.
  
• Budget preparation and monitoring skills.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business software.
  
• Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
