We are looking for an experienced and dynamic System Engineering Department Head to lead our engineering team in Makati, Philippines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background along with excellent leadership skills to drive innovation and efficiency within the department.

What You'll Do:

The System Engineering Department Head is responsible for managing system development and leading a team of System Engineers (developers). He or She evaluates and recommends appropriate system architecture and platforms for in-house developed and third-party applications. Additionally, the SEDH leads the development of new applications and defines the architecture, components, interfaces, and other characteristics of systems or components. He or She is expected to develop and sustain subsystems and system components in various custom-built, multi-platform environments.
This role manages day-to-day operations of the System Engineering Department (SED) and oversees project execution, acting as a Subject Matter Expert on system engineering principles, solutions architecture, programming, and development.

What Were Looking For:
Graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any related field
10 years of experience in system development, production support, or a similar field
At least 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing cross-platform system development teams
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess risks and implement strategic solutions
Committed to delivering high-quality systems and enhancing customer satisfaction
Experience in managing both regular and project-based teams is an advantage
