Job Description - Systems Analyst

Description

Assist and contribute in determining the IT business needs of the organization; create business scenarios, system flowchart, & acceptance criteria
Prepare all test scenarios given by the process owners and system users.
Formulate a test plan to include a test schedule, system/module to be tested, the databases/tables/data to be tested, test scenarios and the expected results.
Conduct all system/software testing
Based on the analysis and together with the application developers propose solution/s to address the bugs and errors found during the test phase.
Continuously assess and benchmark existing systems for inefficiencies; resources used, user experience, competitor’s alternative solution
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
Recommend improvements in the software to enhance user experience

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any course related to Information Technology
At least 2-3 years of work experience related and focused on Software Quality Assurance, Software User Acceptance, Testing, System Documentation
Working knowledge about any programming language, database, & server application solutions.
Working knowledge of basic IT support services such as: Software and Applications trouble shooting and use of commonly used software products (e.g., MS Office, MS Windows and Internet tools).
Basic Networking Skills.
Working knowledge on basic programming and internet tools (e.g. Web Browsing, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS)
Sound Documentation and Communication Skills.
With extensive background in Accounting.
