You will be responsible for the following: 

- Compliance & Reporting: Manage all statutory tax filings (e.g., income tax, VAT, withholding tax) to comply with local and national regulations.

- Tax Strategy & Planning: Develop innovative tax strategies to optimize tax payments and minimize liabilities within legal boundaries

- Team Leadership: Mentor, coordinate, and review the work of junior tax accountants and senior associates.

- Tax Updates: Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise senior management or stakeholders on how these changes impact business operations

We are looking for:

• College Graduate- BS Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• At least 5 years of extensive experience in tax compliance with prior experience in supervisory roles.
• Strong proficiency/familiarity in corporate tax & accounting and relevant GAAP, IFRS, BIR and SEC rules and regulations.
• Experience in tax filing and handling BIR Assessments
• Excellent team player, strong leadership and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and good sense of responsibility
• Knowledgeable in MS Office esp. excel
