What You can expect as Technical Sales - Sheetfed Business Unit

Role Purpose

The Technical Sales provides basic sales field support to defined territories. The role is supporting existing clients and the sales team with information and assistance related to products and services. The role also conducts specialized analytical tests to support client needs and consistent with BU objectives; has formulae sign-off responsibility; may have customer contact or may have local HSE responsibility; may supervise teams and larger QC operations.

SALES

1. Assist sales team in building and maintaining client relationships


2. Regularly check in with clients to understand their evolving needs


3. Keep cooperation and agreement with marketing and SCM within the yearly planning process for products, volumes and prices in agreement with superior, sales team and BU technology


4. Observe and analyze markets, competitors and customers to develop and implement in agreement with marketing measures to improve sales performance


5. Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams


6. Prepare weekly and monthly reports


7. Analyze sales metrics and trends to enhance decision-making


8. Collaborate with colleagues to optimize sales processes


9. To take the role of GMP Auditor

TECHNICAL

1. Ensure blended inks meet client expectations and ensure quality control execution


2. Work a range of methods from standard and well established routines to specially adapted processes


3. Liaise with maintenance staff on repair of faults, modifications


4. Ensure data, observations and conclusions are documented in ERP system


5. Ensure HSE / PSR standards are adhered to at all times


6. Perform complex or specialized analytical tests


7. Conduct quality control for all blended inks types


8. Plan own work within the constraints of a research or test schedule


9. Support development /modification of recipes


10. Support special client projects
