Job Description - Technical Service Engineer

GrainPro Support and Production is currently recruiting for the position of Technical Service Engineer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


 


 Technical Service and Field Support


 



  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers, distributors, and business units (Grain, Cocoa, and Coffee) regarding product applications, installation, troubleshooting, and repair and maintenance.

  • Conduct field visits, inspections, product demonstrations, testing and trial activities, installation supervision, repair, and maintenance support.

  • Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and safety requirements.

  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on field observations, testing results, and customer feedback.

  • Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

  • Prepare technical reports, assessment reports, corrective action reports, and other related documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards during field activities.

  • Maintain accurate records of technical service activities, customer concerns, resolutions, and field evaluations.


 


Product Knowledge and Documentation


 



  • Assist in the development, review, and revision of technical manuals, installation procedures, guidelines, instructional materials, and training documents.

  • Coordinate with the Technical Service Supervisor, Product Manager, and other departments to ensure technical documentation remains accurate, updated, and aligned with current product specifications and operational requirements.


 


Product Marketing


 



  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department in updating product flyers, brochures, presentations, instructional videos, and promotional materials.

  • Provide technical input and support for product-related social media content and marketing campaigns.

  • Ensure that product information on the company website is accurate, complete, updated, and technically correct.

  • Support the development of instructional videos, product manuals, technical presentations, and training materials in coordination with the Technical Service Supervisor and concerned departments.

  • Assist in developing product launch and relaunch plans for new and existing products.

  • Coordinate with Engineering and other internal stakeholders regarding project updates, product improvements, and technical communications.


 


Cross-Functional Coordination


 



  • Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams regarding technical concerns, product performance, and improvement initiatives.

  • Provide timely updates and reports to management regarding ongoing projects, field activities, customer feedback, and technical concerns.

  • Support product testing, evaluation, validation, and continuous improvement activities for new and existing products.



 


REQUIREMENTS:


 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering or a related field.

  • Licensed Engineer is an advantage.

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in technical service, field engineering, product support, technical marketing, or related roles.

  • Knowledge of troubleshooting, equipment installation, product applications, quality inspection, and technical documentation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Good communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, technical reporting, and presentation preparation.

  • Knowledge in content development, product presentations, and technical promotional materials is an advantage.

  • Willing to travel and conduct fieldwork assignments.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license can operating a four-wheel vehicle.
