Tenant Collections

Remote VA is seeking a dedicated Tenant Collections Specialist to manage rent collections and ensure timely payments from tenants. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining positive relationships with tenants while ensuring the company's financial interests are protected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact tenants regarding overdue rent payments and follow up to ensure timely collections.
• Maintain accurate records of payment statuses and collection efforts.
• Coordinate with property management and other departments to resolve tenant payment issues.
• Generate reports on collections and outstanding balances.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with tenants to foster positive relationships.
• Assist in improving collection procedures and tenant communication processes.

• Experience in tenant collections or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
• Professional and empathetic approach to tenant relations.
