Training Officer

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Director for Human Resources/Training Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating all training and developmental activities for the Hotel. The responsibilities include identifying training needs, developing programs, conducting training and liaising with external resources personnel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conducts Annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for Management and Supervisory staff to identify and determine training needs.
• Collects the completed training and development section of the Performance Appraisal form from HR.
• Tabulates the data to show training needs for the Hotel.
• Discusses with HR Manager and GM to incorporate their views and suggestions.
• Analyzes guest questionnaires and feedback.
• Holds meetings with Supervisors to fill-up questionnaire on TNA.
• Tabulates data obtained and come up with overall Supervisory Training needs for the Hotel.
• Prepares detailed breakdown according to final Annual Training Plan.
• Produces schedules, broken down by day, and circulates to all Division/Department Heads.
• Schedules training sessions according to plan
• Prepares set-up and other requirements.
• Submits report to HR Manager (verbal/written).
