Job Description

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Write clear, concise, and user-friendly text for products and services, both system and micro copy.
• Apply appropriate tone, manner, grammar and composition for the target users.
• Ensure proper labels, tags and messaging, including error handling.
• Understand how users interact with text and to identify areas where the UX writing can be improved.
• Write and optimize UX copy for web and mobile experiences (e.g., onboarding, plan selection, payments, error messages, notifications, FAQs).
• Translate complex telco concepts (plans, data usage, billing, network services) into simple, user-friendly language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with user flows, design intent, and business goals.
• Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and terminology across digital touchpoints.
• Participate in usability testing and iteration cycles, refining copy based on insights and data.
• Contribute to UX content guidelines and best practices.

Competencies

• Strong creative and copy writing skills.
• Ability to edit and trim down copy to aid in comprehension and limit overwhelm.
• Mastery of language and cultural nuances that affect communication.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 2 to 3 years of experience in UX writing and 3-5 yrs in content design and digital platforms or similar.
• A strong portfolio of writing samples across content design and digital platforms
• Solid understanding of of user and customer needs.
• Ability to write concise, clear, and actionable microcopy.
• Experience collaborating in Agile or product-led teams.

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience in telecommunications, fintech, or other complex, regulated industries.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience using user research or data to inform content decisions.
