Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for OSP wastewater treatment plant
• Lead and manage wastewater treatment operations

Education & Experience

• A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in wastewater treatment section of a chemical manufacturing plant, with at least two (2) years in supervisory position.  One (1) year of Supervisory experience with ISO/OHSAS programs. B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, Graduate degree (or with relevant technical experience) preferred. 
   

Skills

• Strong knowledge of water treatment, waste management, and general services operations.
• Familiarity with PEZA and DENR environmental regulations and process residue management.
• Knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and interpretation of assay results.
• Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities and a high sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain accurate operational, maintenance, and compliance records.
• Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, continuous improvement, customer focus, and commitment to workplace safety.

Working Conditions

• Working conditions are normal for a chemical manufacturing environment.  Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 15 kg.  Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment and personnel protection equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes/boots and hardhats.  Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted to be worn
