Job Description - Web Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Front -end Developer with strong web design skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress development and static HTML coding. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user -friendly websites that align with our clients' needs and brand identities.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development: Customize existing WordPress themes to meet specific client requirements
Ensure WordPress sites are responsive, fast -loading, and SEO -friendly
Implement and maintain WordPress security best practices

Static HTML Coding:
Create clean, efficient, and well -documented HTML/CSS code
Develop static websites using modern HTML5 and CSS3 techniques
Ensure cross -browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

General Web Design: Collaborate with clients and team members to understand design requirements
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web projects
Implement modern design trends and best practices in UX/UI
Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability

Additional Responsibilities: Stay updated with the latest web technologies and industry trends
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
Provide technical support and guidance to clients when needed
Collaborate with back -end developers for seamless integration

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in front -end development and web design
Proficient in WordPress theme and plugin development
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Experience with responsive design and mobile -first approaches
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices

Preferred (but not required)
Experience with Zoho Site Builder
Experience with PHP and MySQL
Familiarity with task runners (e.g., Gulp, Webpack)
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva
Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent problem -solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Self -motivated and able to work independently
Passion for creating beautiful and functional websites
