Digital Media Journalist (Team 1 and Team 2)

Position Summary:

Valbin Corporation is seeking Digital Media Journalists to develop written and online content supporting NATO simulation exercises. Journalists will produce real-time reporting aligned with exercise injects and operational narratives.
Valbin Corporation’s mission is to provide linguistic support, cultural sensitivity training, project management, and exercise support services to the US Government, NATO, and private sector. Based in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, Valbin has an established and on-going partnership with the US Government through its GSA Schedule and the Valbin Mission Readiness Support Center.

**Contingent upon contract award**

Responsibilities:

• Write and publish digital news articles in real time
• Support simulated media ecosystems during exercises
• Align content with MEL/MIL injects and exercise narrative
• Ensure editorial consistency and realism
• Coordinate with media teams and PSYOPS personnel

Requirements:

• Experience in digital journalism (writing, editing, publishing)
• Ability to produce content based on dynamic MEL/MIL injects
• Translate military operational data into public-facing narratives
• Ability to produce: 
  • Breaking news updates
  •  Real-time blog entries based on MEL/MIL events
• Experience translating complex military information into accessible content
• Must possess an active NATO SECRET security clearance issued by a NATO member nation. Required
• English proficiency at STANAG 6001 – 4433 (Expert Level)

Hours of Operation: Training rotation based with ~35 days per year
