The Role
As Moderna continues to scale its international Enterprise Solutions Hub (MESH) in Warsaw, we are seeking an Analyst, FP&A to join our global Commercial Finance team. This individual contributor role is well-suited for a developing finance professional who is eager to deepen their FP&A skillset in a high-growth, data-driven environment.
This Analysis will work cross-functionally with Commercial and Medical colleagues, serving as a critical partner for planning, reporting, and analytics. With a focus on process optimization and automation, the role offers a unique opportunity to shape how performance data and financial forecasting are delivered across Moderna's high-growth ecosystem. Ideal for a hands-on financial professional with strong analytical skills and experience in dynamic business environments, this role also opens the door to collaborate with global teams and integrate closely with transformative digital tools—including Generative AI solutions for data management and visualization.

Here’s What You’ll Do
Your key responsibilities will be:
Designing and maintaining standardized financial reporting frameworks across regions.
Building dynamic dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Performing monthly and quarterly performance tracking, variance analysis, and actuals refresh cycles.
Supporting OPEX reporting for global and market-level insights, ensuring standardized methodologies.
Conducting end-to-end data integration, uploads and reconciliations in enterprise systems (EPM, Workday, etc.).
Creating financial templates that support scalable forecasting and business planning.
Loading data and associated processes into EPM for sales and OPEX planning.
Supporting month-end and quarter-end accrual management in line with accounting guidance.
Partnering with FBPs to ensure consistency, PO accuracy, and cost center alignment.
Collaborating with teams to evolve financial systems and ensure high data integrity.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Automating manual financial reporting and forecasting processes for greater efficiency.
Prepare clear and concise financial summaries and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc financial analyses and modeling requests.
Supporting template innovation and continuous improvement across the global FP&A landscape.
Collaborate with global FP&A and Commercial/Medical finance teams as part of the MESH support model.
Learn and apply emerging digital tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve efficiency and insight generation.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
Proficiency in English (verbal and/or written) required due to global collaboration needs.
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
Public company finance experience in multi-national structure preferred
Advanced Excel: Mastery of Excel for creating dynamic forecasting models, including templates that handle complex calculations
Data & Querying Tools: Basic to intermediate experience with SQL or similar tools for data extraction and analysis is a plus.
Business Planning Tools: Experience or exposure to EPM and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EPM Cloud (Former on-premises Hyperion)) to support business planning efforts. Experience with SmartView is highly desired.
BI & Visualization Tools: Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Power Query) to transform data, create and manage dashboards and reports
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights that impact business outcomes
AI: Interest in or early experience using AI tools to support data analysis or automation is a plus.
