Asset Accounting Senior Expert with German

Your tasks and Responsibilities:

• Execute Accounting Operations for Asset Accounting (AA) timely and qualitatively


• Manage postings related to the entire asset lifecycle, including assets held for sale, acquisitions, retirements, sales, leasebacks, and more;


• Interact with key business functions like Controlling, Procurement, Product Supply, Legal, and Financial Accounting to ensure proper accounting practices;


• Ensure operational effectiveness of the internal control system relevant to Financial Statements preparation and presentation;


• Contribute to global and local initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures;


• Support optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency;


• Conduct training activities and identify training needs within the team.

Who You Are:

• Very good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/MSR/Ustawa o rachunkowosci)


• Very good English language skills - must have (B2)


• Very good German langauge skills - min. B2


• Knowledge of the "Intercompany" transaction


• Experience (min 5 years) in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Controlling or relevant experience & demonstrated understanding of external reporting / auditing


• Very good knowledge of the life cycle of a fixed asset, the investment process, principles of activating fixed assets, transfers, sale of fixed assets, etc.


• Ability to swiftly understand and adjust posting logic as needed for regulatory changes

Beneficial:

• Experience with Capex4IT or Finance lease


• Basic knowledge of the principles of consolidating financial reports


• Knowledge of SAP, AA module

The minimum gross monthly salary for this role is 10.480,00 PLN. The final salary will be determined based on objective factors such as professional experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility.
This position is be eligible for variable pay components, such as annual or performance-based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
