Job Description - Automation QA Engineer (UFT One)

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer (UFT One) to join a QA team supporting enterprise-scale insurance systems. The role focuses on designing and maintaining automated test frameworks in UFT One, scripting in VBScript, and ensuring high-quality delivery through robust regression and functional testing.

Responsibilities:

â¢ Create, develop, and maintain automated tests in UFT One (must have)

â¢ Script in VBScript for UFT test cases

â¢ Analyse results, log defects, and support bug resolution

â¢ Design and document test cases based on business and system requirements

â¢ Support QA planning, estimations, and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Git)

Requirements

â¢ 3+ yearsâ hands-on experience with UFT One

â¢ 5+ years overall in automation QA

â¢ Strong scripting in VBScript

â¢ Working with XML/JSON data formats

â¢ Familiarity with REST/SOAP API testing basics

â¢ JIRA or other defect/test management tools

â¢ CI/CD awareness (Jenkins, Git)

â¢ Language: Polish and English working proficiency

Nice to have

â¢ ISTQB certification (Foundation or higher)

â¢ Knowledge of Playwright, Gatling, or other frameworks

â¢ Experience with performance testing
