Backend Developer (Workflows)

About your team: 

Text Platform’s mission is to empower customers by providing seamless integration with Text APIs. We have developed the Text.com Marketplace, where customers can purchase applications that extend our core products. We also support developers in building apps. Additionally, we are enhancing our API usage for developers.

We created Workflows, a groundbreaking product designed to simplify and automate everyday tasks without any coding. Our tool targets non-technical users who want to effortlessly accelerate routine tasks in their work with the help of AI assistants.

This is a new tool in the Text Platform portfolio and has led us to create a dedicated team. You’ll be working with Janek (Team Leader) and Wojtek (Frontend Developer). We’re expanding and will soon bring in more team members with diverse skills. You’ll also collaborate daily with other backend developers working on the Platform.

• Develop and maintain the core Workflows engine;
• Lead technical projects from requirements gathering to deployment;
• Collaborate with the API team to ensure smooth integration with various services and products;
• Create and complete technical documentation;
• Optimize Workflows execution;
• Conduct manual and automated tests;
• Work cross-functionally to align Workflows with overall Platform goals;
• Collaborate with other backend developers to get to know the product and discuss tech requirements;
• Development of AI assistance features for workflow creation.

• Has extensive experience with Golang and is an advocate of software craftsmanship, caring deeply about code quality;
• Brings at least 4 years of experience in backend development, preferably in a SaaS environment;
• Knows how to build and maintain scalable, high-performance systems;
• Understands API consumption and integration, even if not directly responsible for API development;
• Has experience working in a changing business environment and is proactive in finding solutions;
• Is familiar with no-code/low-code platforms; 
• Has experience in building AI features - this is a plus.
