About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Architect to support strategic, regulatory, and transformation initiatives within the banking sector.

The role will focus on designing Target Operating Models (TOMs), end-to-end processes, and business capabilities, translating strategic and regulatory requirements into practical and implementable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Target Operating Models (TOMs) and future-state business architectures


• Assess As-Is processes and operating models and define pragmatic To-Be solutions


• Design and optimise end-to-end banking processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities


• Translate business strategy and regulatory requirements into processes, capabilities, governance, and controls


• Perform gap and impact assessments and define transition roadmaps from current to target state


• Develop architecture artefacts, including capability maps, process models, and operating model designs


• Collaborate with Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders


• Facilitate workshops and support senior stakeholders in key transformation and architecture decisions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Business Architecture, Operating Model Design, or Business Transformation within banking or financial services


• Proven experience designing Target Operating Models and end-to-end processes


• Experience delivering regulatory-driven change and working closely with Risk and Compliance


• Strong understanding of banking processes, governance, and controls


• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable, and implementable business designs


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities


• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
