- You take full end-to-end ownership of business controlling for R&D, acting as the primary finance contact and strategic advisor for Software Engineering and Product Management leadership.
- You design and implement operational KPIs together with engineering and product stakeholders, covering development velocity, resource utilization, and product profitability.
- You lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts for R&D, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across products, features, and technical debt initiatives.
- You critically challenge R&D investments through rigorous cost-benefit analyses of new product development, feature enhancements, and technology infrastructure.
- You develop financial models for the capitalization of software development costs in line with accounting standards, ensuring accurate project cost tracking.
- You drive monthly performance reviews with engineering and product leaders, delivering variance analyses and actionable recommendations while championing continuous improvement in R&D financial planning.
