Our client is a global financial services organisation operating within the Asset Management sector. They focus on delivering strategic and operational initiatives that support investment operations and enterprise change. They are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to join their team in Wroclaw on a 6-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful initiatives that directly impact the organisation's strategic priorities within Asset Management, working alongside business leaders, technology teams and delivery partners. 

Position Overview 

As Business Project Manager, you'll lead and coordinate business-driven initiatives across the Enterprise Change Office and Investment Operations. This role focuses on driving outcomes, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and executing initiatives that support the organisation's strategic and operational priorities. You'll work at the intersection of business, technology and operations, translating business objectives into executable plans while maintaining delivery transparency and control. 

Responsibilities

  Provide project management services for business-oriented initiatives across Enterprise Change Office and Investment Operations

  Lead medium-sized projects and contribute to larger global programmes across multiple workstreams 

  
  

• 
  

  Own status reporting, risk and issue management, dependency tracking and timely escalations 

  
  

• 
  

  Drive execution using approved delivery methodologies, governance practices and tools 

  
  

• 
  

  Support change management activities including stakeholder alignment and communication planning 

  
  

• 
  

  Coordinate stakeholders across business, investment, technology and delivery teams 

  
  

• 
  

  Ensure alignment, decision-making and progress across all project workstreams 

  
  

• 
  

  Translate business objectives into executable plans with measurable outcomes

  Maintain delivery transparency through robust reporting and governance 

  
  

Requirements 

• 
  

  10+ years' experience as Business Project Manager, Programme Manager or Consultant leading cross-functional initiatives 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong understanding of Asset Management, Capital Markets or Financial Services operating models 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience with front office, middle office or investment operations preferred 

  
  

• 
  

  Proven ability to partner with business leaders and drive results 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong consulting mindset with ability to manage ambiguity and influence stakeholders 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience structuring complex problems and developing practical solutions 

  
  

• 
  

  Demonstrated stakeholder management and executive communication skills 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience supporting change management and adoption readiness activities 

  
  

• 
  

  Familiarity with technology-enabled transformation initiatives (data, platforms, automation, operational improvements)
