As a Car Infotainment Application Engineer at 42dot, your main duty is to design, develop, and maintain applications for In-Vehicle Infotainment systems (IVI), specifically focusing on creating innovative IVI applications for Android Automotive OS (AAOS). These applications, along with the entire IVI system, are integral components of the advanced 42dot Software Defined Vehicle OS ecosystem.

Your role is pivotal in shaping the future of automotive technology at 42dot, where you'll leverage your expertise and passion to drive impactful innovations in car infotainment systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain modern applications for 42dot IVI system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into IVI applications
• Provide technical guidance and support to other application engineers

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in Android development
• Proficiency in Kotlin
• Comprehensive understanding of the Android platform
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Fluent English

• Knowledge and experience in automotive products and in-vehicle infotainment domain
• Knowledge of Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS)
• Proficiency in utilizing modern Android libraries, frameworks, and tools
• Working experience with multi-site, multi-national and multi-contributor teams.

• Resume Review- Coding Test - 1st Interview with our Engineering Lead Poland(Approx. 1 hour) - 2nd interview with Poland's Domain Experts (Approx. 2~3 hours) - 3rd Interview with HQ's Domain Experts(Approx. 1 hour) and Interview with HQ's HR for Cultural Fit (Approx 30 mins)
• Coding Test: The purpose of this test is to observe your problem-solving approach, and the test score is not the sole determinant. Candidates are expected to demonstrate efficient problem-solving skills using algorithms.
