Bringing stories in real time to 300+ million viewers around the world is a hard challenge, demanding exceptional levels of scaling, reliability, stability, and operational excellence across our Cloud Platform stack.\n\n## About the Team\n\nCloud Infrastructure Engineering (CIE) builds and operates the foundational platform that Netflix runs on \u2014 compute, storage, networking, and performance infrastructure, at global scale. We think of ourselves as platform engineers for infrastructure: building the systems, tools, and abstractions that let Netflix\u0027s engineering organization move fast without compromising reliability or efficiency.\n\nWe are building the Cloud Infrastructure Tooling team in Warsaw \u2014 a new team that will sit at the center of CIE, acting as a multiplier across compute, storage, networking, and performance teams. The charter is to build internal tooling, developer-facing UIs, and shared services that reduce duplication and let CIE\u0027s domain teams to increase velocity. The problems we\u0027ll solve are technically challenging: our customers will be some of the most demanding infrastructure engineers in the industry, and the systems they depend on run at Netflix scale.\n\nIf you want to understand the kind of engineering this team supports, explore:\n\n * Auto Scaling Production Services on Titus\n\n * Noisy Neighbor Detection with eBPF\n\n * Region Evacuation Reimagined\n\n * Evolving Region Evacuation\n\n * Consistent caching mechanism in Titus Gateway\n\n * Mount Mayhem at Netflix: Scaling Containers on Modern CPUs\n\n\n\n\n### \n\n## What You Will Do\n\n * Design, build, and operate software solutions and tooling that serve CIE\u0027s compute, storage, networking, and performance engineering teams \u2014 the engineers who run Netflix\u0027s cloud infrastructure.\n\n * Solving real business needs at a large scale by applying your software engineering and analytical problem-solving skills.\n\n * Building software solutions and tools to improve developer experience and product experience in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.\n\n * Architecting and building a robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure.\n\n * Responsible for driving alignment with stakeholders and setting partner expectations.\n\n * Leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with engineers, product managers, and TPM across teams.\n\n * Sharing our experiences with the open source communities and contributing to Netflix OSS.\n\n\n\n\n## What We Are Looking For\n\n * 7 or more years of experience designing and building complex, scalable distributed data infrastructure\n\n * Proficiency in at least one of: Java, Go, or C++, with a strong software engineering foundation that enables you to write clean, maintainable, high-performance code.\n\n * Practical understanding of at least one infrastructure domain \u2014 compute, distributed storage, or cloud networking or performance.\n\n * Experience owning and delivering high-impact systems end-to-end, with accountability in dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environments.\n\n * Experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems\n\n\n\n\n### \n\n## What Sets You Apart\n\n * Motivation to work on infrastructure that other engineers depend on, with a focus on building systems that are reliable and resilient.\n\n * Bringing a product mindset to internal tooling: you think about developer experience, adoption, and the real-world impact on the teams you serve.\n\n * Comfort with ambiguity and experience helping to shape problem definitions as well as solutions\n\n * Experience contributing to or engaging with open source infrastructure communities.\n\n * You approach technical challenges from first principles \u2014 you don\u0027t reach for familiar patterns when a better solution exists.\n\n\n\n\nWant to know more about how we work at Netflix?
