EMEA Regional Senior Category Buyer

The Senior Category Buyer is responsible for procurement-related activities for the assigned categories/commodities and sets up the strategy for their category in alignment with the global commodities. This position is responsible for achieving maximum value according to local requirements and regulations.

In cooperation with the EMEA Procurement Manager, the Senior Category Buyer supports the definition of the global supply base, ensures regional execution of the strategy and works toward continuous improvement with supplies.

The Senior Category Buyer supports Global Procurement through supply chain design, executing RFQ phase, leads projects in cooperation with internal stakeholders and negotiates contracts and commercials with suppliers for all related materials within the project and assisting in scouting new suppliers to fill vendor gaps.

REQUIREMENTS:              

• +5 years' experience in sourcing
• Analytical skills
• Getting things done attitude
• Project management
• Bachelor or higher degree
• Contract management
• Supplier Lifecycle Management
