Job Description - Employee Central (Employee Life Cycle) Expert with German


The position


Looking for a role where you can focus on various administrative tasks during the employee lifecycle? Help us build Employee Central Germany team towards operational excellence and splendid customer experience – from hiring and contracting to work and income related activities in German language. Tasks & Responsibilities


As an Employee Central (Employee Life Cycle) Expert with German, you are responsible for:


• Participating in and supporting the transition of HR activities from Germany to Poland, including knowledge transfer, stabilization, and occasional international travel as required.
• Handling regular HR transactions across all process areas, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution, while dedicating a defined portion of time to hands-on operational work to stay closely connected to the processes.
• Acting as a subject-matter expert for the Competence Center, providing advanced support for complex cases, escalations, and non-standard scenarios, and closely collaborating with the Competence Center Owner.
• Serving as a backup for the Team Manager by taking responsibility for operational decision-making, workflow continuity, and basic team coordination during the manager’s absence.
• Identifying process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, and proactively driving corrective actions and sustainable solutions across the end-to-end process landscape.
• Representing the Competence Center in interactions with local and global stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective knowledge exchange across regions and markets.
• Coordinating and actively contributing to global and local DEMAs, participating in cross-country discussions to support harmonization, standardization, and continuous alignment of practices.
• Leading and/or supporting projects by contributing expert insights, coordinating stakeholders, and driving end-to-end improvements.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing and best-practice harmonization across countries to strengthen process consistency, maturity, and operational resilience.
• Overseeing transitions and scope extensions, ensuring the structured onboarding of new activities or services into the Competence Center.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and actively contributing to center-wide development programs, methodology enhancements, and the evolution of ways of working.
• Ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of recurring, annual, and ad hoc activities by effectively delegating tasks when appropriate and providing guidance and support to team members during execution.


About our future employee


You should speak German & English languages (min. C1) and have 6+ years of professional experience in HR, supporting employee lifecycle process.

  • Completed higher education preferably in HR field or related areas.

  • Speak-Up approach and ability to build argumentation with candor and respect.

  • Excellent analytical skills to understand complex issues, identify root causes and implement preventive actions.

  • Passion for people and ability to meet or manage diverse expectations.
