As an External Supply Chain Planner, you will play a key role supporting our External Manufacturing activities, ensuring materials, production plans, and shipments are executed accurately and on time.

Your role

As an External Supply Chain Planner, you will support the External Manufacturing (ExMan) team in sourcing and purchasing materials and services for one or more CMOs/External Partners.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Communicate with CMOs and suppliers to track orders and resolve any issues.


• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels and report discrepancies.


• Collect and analyze data related to procurement and inventory.


• Prepare and update supply and inventory reports


• Understanding Rolling Forecast (RF) logic


• Assist in planning and maintaining planning schedules


• Coordinate shipping for both Finished Goods and Samples


• Monitor production plan versus actual on daily and weekly basis, and re-sequence where necessary, follow up on deviations and change controls


• Maintain accurate procurement and planning documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.


• Assist in monitoring and controlling ExMan costs.


• Facilitate communication between the ExMan team and other departments.


• Suggest and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

• BSc degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field


• Several years of experience in supply planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry


• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills


• Ability to build relationships and work effectively across cultures


• Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system


• Fluent in written and spoken English
