We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to the plant leadership team.
This role will take ownership of the plant’s financial performance, providing strategic and operational insights that support decision-making, profitability and sustainable value creation. The successful candidate will combine strong manufacturing finance expertise with commercial awareness, leadership capabilities and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted Finance Business Partner to plant leadership, influencing strategic and operational decision-making.
Own the end-to-end financial performance of the plant, ensuring the delivery of business objectives and sustainable value creation.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency and timely business insights.
Drive profitability, productivity, inventory optimisation and working-capital performance through data-driven financial leadership.
Provide financial leadership for capital investments, business cases, operational initiatives and strategic decisions.
Manage manufacturing finance processes, including standard costing, cost-centre management, KPI governance and performance reporting.
Maintain a strong control environment through effective governance, compliance and audit management.
Promote continuous improvement, simplification and automation across finance processes.
Develop organisational capability by coaching talent and strengthening cross-functional partnerships.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
At least eight years of progressive experience in finance and controlling, including manufacturing finance.
Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and month-end closing processes.
Proven ability to partner effectively with operational and functional leaders.
Experience in a standard-cost manufacturing environment, ideally within an international or multinational organisation.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving and strategic-thinking capabilities.
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment.
Strong working knowledge of SAP and HFM; experience with SAP CO is preferred.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Collaborative and hands-on approach, combined with a high level of ownership and accountability.
