As a Domain Architect for IaaS, you will play a critical role in designing and overseeing distributed infrastructure systems across hundreds of locations. You will lead the architecture of complex, modular, and highly available systems, working closely with senior architects, delivery, and engineering teams. This is a senior position requiring expertise in software architecture, infrastructure development, and cloud technologies, particularly in Kubernetes (K8s) environments.

Your role will involve the full lifecycle of infrastructure solutions, from conceptual design to implementation, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. A solid understanding of datacenter infrastructure, distributed services, and task management is essential. You will also manage distributed architectures, containerization strategies, and orchestrate cloud-native applications to enable forward-thinking, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modular and distributed software architectures.


• Lead the evolution of a highly available system spanning multiple locations.


• Oversee distributed service architectures using APIs and messaging.


• Manage sequenced and dependency-based task management across distributed environments.


• Develop solutions in Kubernetes (K8s), focusing on K8s operator development.


• Collaborate on the design of HTML UI architectures.


• Manage various components of infrastructure, including IAM/OAuth, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana for monitoring and logging.


• Utilize modern technologies such as Python, GoLang, RabbitMQ, Celery, Pydantic Models, and ArangoDB.


• Provide comprehensive documentation and clear communication of architectural solutions to peers and senior teams.

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software architecture, especially in IaaS.


• Proven expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) application and operator development.


• Strong background in distributed systems and task management.


• Proficiency in Python, GoLang, and REST API (FastAPI).


• Experience with Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.


• Knowledge of distributed service architectures (API, messaging).


• Experience with Graph modeling and plugin frameworks for various deployment requirements.


• Fluent English (C1 proficiency) for documentation and communication.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with datacenter concepts such as VRF, VLAN, VXLAN, hypervisors, firewalls, and storage systems.


• Experience with IAM and OAuth for authentication.


• Knowledge of physical datacenter infrastructure.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ArangoDB or other NoSQL databases.


• Understanding of distributed systems performance tuning.
