Job Description - Intralogistics Solutions Designer - Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa
Your role
Increase knowledge of automation through continuous support of local efforts in EE/MEA region. Building competences in the countries and design automation logistics solutions for end customers with aim to increase KION brands footprint in automation in EE/MEA region.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Your responsibilities
Supporting Network Partners and End Customers in solution design, focusing on complex multi-dimensional projects
Assuring adequate access of Network Partners to relevant solution information in a course of webinars, trainings and workshops
Tailoring solutions to current market situation and organizational structure in dedicated countries
Contacting potential technology suppliers, receiving offers, assessing their capabilities; maintaining a supplier list within the region
Working as a communication bridge between countries, headquarters and technological partners
Mentoring and development of the sales network, including driving them into competence absorption
Assessing project complexity, budgeting and delivering best fitting logistics automation solution
Development of customer specific and application specific logistic concepts to set up a solution based on stationary automation equipment or automated guided vehicles (AGV)
Analysis and planning of the end-to-end processes in consideration of complex solution requirements (Product and service requests)
Evaluation and technical qualification of final offers to create a solid base in further project realization
Essential qualities and skills
Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Logistics or similar
Proven professional experience in handling intralogistics projects
Ability to navigate within international structures and communicate with various stakeholders
Experience with intralogistics automation technology such as conveyors, shuttles, stacker cranes, rail system etc. is a must
Experience with automated transport vehicles (AGVs or AMRs) is an advantage
Very good English skills required; German or any other East or South-East European language beneficial
Driving licence B
Proficiency with MS Office applications and experience with AutoCad or similar
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50% of time)
International mindset, ability to be persuasive and assertive, basic presentation skills
Proactive, structured and solution-oriented personality
Sales & consultancy approach with patience for realization
Analytical thinking supporting identification of opportunities and risks
