Junior Immigration Consultant

Contract: Permanent, Full Time  

Team: Poland Inbound

Office Location: Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk or Wroclaw offices will be considered, but will depend on business need

The role:

As a Junior Consultant, you will play an important supporting role in delivering high-quality immigration services to Fragomen’s clients. Working under the supervision of Senior Consultants and Managers, you will assist in the preparation and coordination of immigration applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

You will be involved in the day-to-day handling of casework, including drafting documentation, maintaining case records, end-to-end preparation and submission of applications to local government authorities and communicating with clients on routine matters. Your work will contribute to enabling foreign employees of our clients to live and work in Poland in a compliant manner.

In addition to your casework, you will collaborate closely with your team on administrative and organizational tasks, while continuously developing your technical knowledge and client management skills.

What your day will look like:

  • Supporting the preparation and submission of immigration applications, including drafting forms, letters and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining and updating case records and documentation in internal systems
  • Communicating with clients and assignees on routine matters, providing guidance and regular updates to assignees regarding their applications
  • Monitoring case progress and ensuring deadlines and service levels are met
  • Escalating complex issues, delays or risks to senior team members in a timely manner
  • Uploading and managing documentation with local Immigration Authorities
  • Managing a caseload in an organised and efficient manner while adhering to deadlines
  • Assisting with legal research and gathering information required for case processing
  • Participating in team meetings, training sessions and internal knowledge sharing
  • Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting wider team activities as required

The successful applicant may have some prior exposure to immigration, legal, or administrative work. Most importantly, they will demonstrate strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, a genuine interest in immigration and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of productivity
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  • The ability to meet assigned deadlines and communicate progress to supervisors
  • Flexibility and initiative in your approach, contributing to a positive work environment
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships with team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisation skills with ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines and manage multiple small-scale projects
  • Professionalism, quality service and a “can do” attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors
