MATERIAL PLANNING SPECIALIST

Fixed term contract 6 months

The Material Planner is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of packaging materials and raw materials necessary for production. This role ensures that all materials are available in the right quantities and at the right time to support efficient manufacturing operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ordering Management: Order packaging materials and raw materials from approved suppliers.


• Inventory Control: Coordinate material orders and monitor inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply and prevent shortages or excess stock.


• Data Analysis: Analyze material consumption and usage patterns to support production planning and material availability.


• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolve delivery-related issues, and ensure efficient communication.


• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production Planning to align material availability with production schedules, Procurement regarding supplier-related matters, Warehouse and Logistics teams on material deliveries and receipts, and Quality teams in case of non-conforming materials.


• Project Support: Participate in regular project meetings related to new business initiatives and product implementations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (high school education supported by a minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience will also be considered).


• Proven experience in inventory management or supply chain coordination.


• Practical knowledge of SAP (or another ERP system).


• Previous experience in material planning or supply chain management within an FMCG environment will be an asset.


• Strong analytical skills and at least an intermediate level of proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Microsoft Excel; Power BI will be an asset).


• Proficiency in Polish and English at a communicative level (B2).


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
