Job Description - Middleware Engineer / DC Migration Programme

We are looking for a Middleware Engineer to support production-critical Oracle middleware environments within a large-scale Data Centre Migration programme. The role focuses on Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Service Bus administration, BAU operations, troubleshooting, environment configuration, and selected migration activities, working closely with application, infrastructure, security, and international engineering teams.

Responsibilities

â¢ Administration and support of middleware environments

â¢ Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Service Bus administration

â¢ Monitoring, patching, maintenance and troubleshooting

â¢ Take over selected BAU activities from internal engineers

â¢ Build and configure middleware components

â¢ Prepare environments for application migration

â¢ Support configuration and access preparation

â¢ Diagnose and resolve middleware issues

â¢ Support testing and migration activities

â¢ Monitor performance, stability and availability

â¢ Maintain technical and operational documentation

â¢ Cooperate with application, infrastructure, security and international engineering teams

Requirements

â¢ Strong middleware administration experience

â¢ Strong hands on Oracle WebLogic experience

â¢ Strong hands on Oracle Service Bus experience

â¢ Experience supporting enterprise production environments

â¢ Experience working within structured operational and security processes

â¢ Experience in large corporate environments

â¢ Strong troubleshooting capability

â¢ Good English
