Job Description - NPI Senior Manager, Packaging

Job Description

Transform innovation into operational reality by delivering new manufacturing and packing projects at internal plants and vendor sites!

Core Responsibilities

In this role you will lead and coordinate projects for the implementation of new packing lines, technologies, and manufacturing platforms at our external vendor packing sites in Poland. More specifically, you will:

  • Define, manage, and coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring strong collaboration with NPI in Kladno, R&D, Operations, and external partners
  • Manage project risks and opportunities, proactively driving outcomes that support business performance and strategic objectives
  • Lead the introduction and rollout of new technologies, platforms, and production processes, ensuring a strong operations–engineering interface
  • Design and implement manufacturing processes and layouts, including documentation, standards, and quality requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost, performance, and process robustness

This position is located in our vendor's manufacturing site in Łódź, there is no relocation assistance offered for this role and at this moment it is a fixed-term opportunity for 2 years.

While this role is part of the Quality in Operations teams, it is predominantly linked to the activities driven by Kladno Novelty Product Introduction (NPI) team. The NPI team is responsible for transferring new products, technologies, and processes from development into stable, scalable manufacturing and packing operations. It leads industrialization, line setup, validation, and ramp-up activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and readiness for mass production. NPI acts as the bridge between R&D, engineering, operations, suppliers, and production sites to ensure smooth, on-time launches.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in a serial production/manufacturing environment (industrialization, NPI, operations engineering, or similar)
  • Demonstrated project management experience in manufacturing or production-related projects
  • Strong technical approach with the ability to understand and implement manufacturing technologies and processes
  • Ability to work independently with a structured, analytical, and systematic approach
  • Strong partner and interface management skills across engineering, operations, suppliers, and external partners
  • Experience working in cross-functional and multi-site project environments
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into concrete project plans and execution actions
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30 days per year, predominantly to Kladno, Czech Republic; it might be more during the onboarding period
  • Fluent English required; Polish or Czech language skills are a plus

Compensation

The base salary for this position has a range from 278 153,00 zł - 417 229,00 zł based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational set-up. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law when determining the salary. A bonus scheme with a target Bonus of 17,5% of the base salary is in place for this position as well as a standard benefit package .The comprehensive remuneration details, incl. benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
