Job Description - Order Handling Specialist

This position reports to:

Order Handling Team Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Managing customer orders end-to-end in ERP systems (from order entry to invoicing)
Coordinating order execution with Sales, Logistics, Service and Finance teams
Monitoring order status and ensuring on-time delivery
Verifying commercial data (prices, terms and conditions, Incoterms)
Communicating with customers and resolving operational issues
Supporting continuous improvement of the order-to-cash process

This role is contributing to the MOTR Service.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Focusing on achievement of defined targets, including inventory turn on finished goods, requested on-time delivery, and Net Promoter Score.
Processing orders by coordinating with Sales, Product Marketing, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure that customers receive accurate and timely delivery of products.
Acting as the first port of call for customers’ queries and orders and ensuring the resolution of customer issues.
Supporting in pre-sales or after-sales service by resolving customer issues and ensuring effective and efficient customer communication by utilizing specific commercial communication tools.

Qualifications for the role

Good understanding of order-to-cash processes and related workflows
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and good system literacy
Strong attention to detail, especially in data verification (pricing, master data, contracts)
Good command of English (min. B2)
Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment
Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle operational challenges under time pressure
Knowledge of Incoterms and basic commercial terms
Understanding of compliance and internal control requirements
