What You Will Do: 



Stop / Scale / Start in Real Time


You are the hands on the controls for day-to-day campaign management across a portfolio of paid social accounts. When a tactic is bleeding budget with no return, you stop it — mid-day, not at the weekly review. When something is winning, you scale it fast, before the window closes. When the Strategist briefs a new test, you execute it with speed and precision: correct structure, correct naming convention, correct tracking, so results are immediately readable and trustworthy.


You treat every campaign like a live trade. Positions are opened with a thesis and closed when the thesis is invalidated.



Platform Execution & Directed Automation


You know exactly how the algorithms behave — and you know when to trust them and when to override them. You set and adjust bids, budget pacing, placement controls, and audience segmentation based on what the data is actually telling you, not what the platform recommends. You build, refresh, and maintain audiences — lookalikes, custom lists, retargeting pools, suppression lists, exclusion logic — and you keep them clean. You manage creative rotation in real time, catching frequency thresholds and flagging fatigue before it hits performance.



Data Integrity & Performance Reporting


You know that platform dashboards grade their own homework. You routinely export raw breakdowns by placement, audience, device, creative, and time of day — then join them with back-end CRM data in Excel to calculate true Cost per Acquiring New Donor or Customer, not the platform's self-reported CPA. When a metric looks suspiciously good or bad, your instinct is to pull it apart, isolate the exact variable, and flag it immediately. Every day you produce a concise, Bottom-Line-Up-Front summary for the Strategist: not "here's the data" — but "here's what changed, here's why, and here's what I've already done about it."



What You Bring:




  • Deep, hands-on experience in Meta Ads Manager — you know the delivery system, not just the interface. Experience in TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, or Snapchat is a strong plus.

  • Excel fluency: PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested IFs, data unpivoting. When the platform UI looks wrong, you export the raw data and build your own view of truth.

  • A track record of active, daily optimisation — not set-and-check-weekly campaign management.

  • Experience reconciling platform data with back-end CRM or conversion data to surface true performance metrics.

  • An obsessive approach to naming conventions, UTM hygiene, pixel QA, and build accuracy. You QA your own work before it goes live, every time.



Who You Are:



You are fast and precise - you can execute a complex campaign build, a budget reallocation, and a performance triage in the same morning, and do all three correctly. You are contrarian by default: when a metric looks great, your first question is "what's broken?" You don't trust platform attribution at face value, and you actively seek out the gap between what the dashboard says and what actually happened. You are detail-obsessed in a way that goes beyond professionalism - a misplaced decimal or a broken naming convention physically bothers you. And you have a builder mindset: you would rather spend three hours deep in a dataset solving a funnel puzzle than thirty minutes on a status call.
